Fund Overview and Benefits for Sponsors
The Cheltenham Youth Club is a not-for-profit gymnastics and
trampoline sports club with over 500 members currently registered.
Our trampoline program caters to children and adults from the very
beginner to World Championship level.
The sport of Trampolining involves two separate apparatus; a
Trampoline and a Double-mini Trampoline.
In 2006 the CYC athletes have had outstanding success on both
the Trampoline and the Double-Mini. Competing in ten different age
groups these athletes dominated at Victorian Championships
bringing home 23 Gold, 17 Silver and 15 Bronze medals, as well as a
further 27 finalists.
At Australian Championships the athletes again excelled
bringing back 7 Gold, 12 Silver and 6 Bronze, and a further 19
making finals. In the past 12 months we have also had athletes
bring home International Gold and Bronze from World Championships
and Indo-Pacifics. At the 2006 National Club Championships CYC won
the award for the number one Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline
Club in the country, as well as the number one elite club.
Cheltenham Youth Club’s elite level trampolinists are all
exceptional athletes and represent their state and their country
with pride. They have all achieved amazing results both nationally
and internationally and their individual profiles can be forwarded
for your perusal. Next year it is our goal that these athletes try
to attend the Flanders Cup in Holland, the World Cup in the USA and
the World Championships in Quebec, Canada. As you can appreciate
this level of competition is expensive, and the athletes receive no
outside funding for these events and without sponsorship from
companies such as yours, these goals would be out of reach of our
fantastic group of ordinary young people who do extraordinary
things. We are currently looking for businesses that are proactive
in their sponsorship of grass roots level sports. These businesses
are aware that these types of sponsorship deals have huge cross
promotional benefits to both parties.
